We all need something to hope for, to hope in. A life without hope, is a life without meaning. Without direction, without destiny. As we pull out our bows and position our arrows to focus on and aim; the location of our hope must be in something that is real and eternal. We mustn’t waist the arrows we have, on frivolous and short term solutions, we must move with precision, therefore; our hope cannot be in man or ourselves. Man is mortal. We all live, die, bleed, and have a natural instinct to react based upon desires, needs, and lusts of the flesh. We need a hope that defeats shortcomings, flaws, and imperfections. Let us remember to reposition our hope on the one who makes all things possible and creates all things new. Let us remember, our help comes from the Lord.
Psalm 121: 1-2
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
