Privacy
What this site knows about you, which is almost nothing.
A plain statement of what is collected, why, and what happens to it.
What this site collects
Very little, and only as totals. The site keeps a count of how many times each page is opened per day. When a visit starts, it also counts where it came from, as the name of a platform (LinkedIn, a search engine, an email) and any campaign label on the link you followed, never the address of the page you came from. And it counts a few actions as totals: a demo opened, a post shared, a case study reached from an article, a message sent, a newsletter sign-up.
None of it identifies you or connects two visits: there is no cookie, no IP address and no device details, and nothing is stored in your browser. The counts are kept on this site, not sent to a third party. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted at all. There is no advertising pixel, and fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party, so loading a page tells no one else you were here.
The contact form
If you write to me, the form collects what you type into it: your name, your email address, your organisation if you give one, what you are exploring, and your message. That is all it stores.
Your message is saved privately inside this site so it cannot be lost if email delivery fails, and a copy is emailed to me. It is never published, never shared, and never used for anything but replying to you.
To slow down automated abuse, the form briefly notes the sending address so that one source cannot submit repeatedly in a short window. That note expires on its own and is not attached to your message.
The newsletter
If you subscribe at the end of an essay, the one thing you type, your email address, is passed from this site to Kit, the service that sends the newsletter. It is passed once, from this site's server, only when you press the button. Your browser never contacts Kit, and nothing about your visit is sent along with the address.
This site does not keep a copy of your address. Kit holds the list, Kit sends a confirmation email before anything else, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. The same brief anti-abuse note described above applies to this form too.
Interactive artifacts
The demos and guides on this site run entirely in your browser. Some remember your progress using storage on your own device so you can return to where you were. Nothing about that is sent back to this site.
The host
Like any website, the servers this site runs on keep ordinary access logs. Those belong to the hosting provider and are governed by its own policy.
Your choices
If you would like a message you sent deleted, say so and it will be. If you would rather not use the form, the email address on the Offers section reaches me directly.
This statement is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here changes, this page changes with it.
